Registration

Welcome to the Spring 2024 Registration with Chelsea Hockey.

The Chelsea Hockey Association (CHA) offers many opportunities for hockey programs at all age levels.  The following pages will request player and guardian information.  Specific details will be included during the Registration process/

Travel Program

Individual teams are working on their rostering details.  Any additional information will be posted on the team webpage. If you have any questions about a Chiefs team, please contact the Head Coach or Manager and their contact is listed here:

Bulldogs House Program

The emphasis is on a low-keyed, fun program that provides for the continuing development of individual and team hockey skills.  A two-to-one practice to game ratio is maintained along with Off-Ice Training to ensure player development.  10U through 14U teams play in the Little Caesar's Amateur Hockey League with home games at the Arctic Coliseum.  All players will be evaluated for balanced team placement.  Individuals at each level, who do not have the skills required for team placement, will be referred to the Learn to Play Hockey program.  Evaluation sessions are scheduled by team divisions, which are based on the birth year of the player.  Players should select the evaluation session that includes their birth year.  Evaluation dates and times are posted on the website and at the rink.  Shared practices are supported by the CHA and the teams are encouraged to participate.  At least one parent must accompany the player to the evaluation skate to sign paperwork that is necessary for rostering.  Full equipment is required.

For questions about the Bulldogs House Programs, please contact the House Director:

The CHA reserves the right to cancel any team or program if there is insufficient enrollment/interest or talent in the estimation of the Association to field the team/program.  The CHA strongly encourages players to seek competition at their age appropriate levels.  Parents who consider their players to possess superior skills and who are seeking higher competition and development should consider having their child tryout for a Travel team.  The CHA Board must pre-approve all move-ups other than travel per its By-Laws.
